Lately, we’ve been busy redesigning our website in the new HTML5 standard to prove that we’re keeping ahead with the times and supporting as many devices as we can. Expect to see our new site live some time next week with our mobile-friendly site launching soon after!
On Saturday, we were at Business Link’s “Start Your Business” event at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. We were there all day chatting to enthusiastic start-ups about their plans and how the web can help them be more efficient and successful. We also had a demo website set up, so visitors could see how easy it was to edit one of our CMS websites. After winning the Creativity & Design award in the Teesside Blueprint competition, we attended the grand finals at the Hilton in Gateshead last Thursday. Unfortunately, we didn’t come away with the overall Creativity & Design award. However, we weren’t disheartened as we were beaten by some great companies and we really enjoyed the event. We made some good contacts and we’d like to congratulate everyone who made it there!
Sapere Software invited us to re-design and style the front-end layout for goalkeeper training website ProSoccerKeeper.co.uk, ran by the Northern Irish & Bolton Wanderers first team goalkeeping coach, Fred Barber. We refreshed it with a strong and relevant colour scheme taking inspiration from floodlit football pitches.
This is the latest exhibition installation currently showcasing at the Museum Of Hartlepool. To help promote the exhibition we were commissioned to produce a number of printed promotional aids. Following a brief of a 50’s chic art direction, flyers and invites were created using a bespoke die cut of a teapot to run consistently with the exhibitions overall image. The exhibition runs from the 24th July to the 17th October with free entry!
We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that we have won the 2010 Teesside Blueprint Creativity and Design Award at the ceremony which was held at Middlesbrough Riverside Stadium last week. We will be representing Teesside in the regional finals at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle in October later this year.
We wrote on our previous blog entry about working once again with Surestart and Time Out Of The Box to help them complete their series of educational shorts. Here is the finished product, showing our artwork. More images of the art work can be seen here.
Having gained extremely positive feedback from SureStart on our previous project completed for them. We were once again invited by film production company Time Out Of The Box to design the DVD Box graphics for the second short film in the series, Pathways To Propects. The full vector based illustration will be revealed soon!
This week, we’ve been busy re-designing the website of Change Mentors, a Training Consultancy set-up by David Skipsey in 2004. Their previous website was in need of modernisation and didn’t display Change Mentors in the quality it deserved. We designed a stylish and professional site using inspiration from the “change curve”.
